All-Star Cheerleading is fun and a popular sport and GSC has some of the top age-group squads in the country, winning national championships nearly every year including the Generals' back-to-back bids to the D2 Summit in Orlando in 2019 & 2020.
Abilene Cheer Force is recognized as one of the smallest and most successful programs to compete not only in the
Big Country area, but also within USASF/VARSITY.
Competitive cheer-leading is split into Tiers and then Divisions. These divisions are based on skill level and birth year.
Abilene Cheer Force will be competing in the Elite Club, Novice, Prep & Elite
GSC Cheer coaches have been recruited from top programs and have experience competing as an athlete as well as a coach. They understand coaching in a positive and professional manner, pushing the athletes to strive to become better.
The cheerleaders will receive instruction in all levels of stunting & tumbling, from round-offs to more difficult flipping & twisting skills.
Cheerleading is a great sport to be involved in. As with any other youth team sport, there are training and practice rules to abide by, including having a positive attitude, good attendance, putting the team first and team unity, developing a winning attitude, being coachable, appropriate dress and physical training.
ACF team tryouts are held in May, with practices starting July and stunt camp. ACF routines are professionally choreographed and the music wins awards of its own throughout the competition season.
